Why K2 X 7?

Between Storms and Setbacks

After his first failed attempt in 2013, Mingma returned stronger and summited K2 in 2014 as a rope-fixing team leader. A year later, in 2015, harsh weather turned him back again — reminding him that this mountain never surrenders easily.

Where Records Became Legacy

From that first summit, he went on to lead the historic K2 winter ascent and now holds the record for the most ascents of the mountain by any climber in history.

Lessons from the Mountain

K2 shaped him — pushing him to the edge, revealing his inner strength, and proving that true leadership is forged in the storm.
